WTCP is pleased to announce that Priority Registration will open at 7pm on Wednesday, February 1 for returning athletes in good standing from the 2016 season with Lottery Registration following a few weeks later.

Registration fees for the 2017 season will be $400 for residents and $425 for non-residents. Your Board of Directors debated for many hours about this increase. Below are some facts about the costs associated with running this program:

Uniforms:  $160 per athlete
Professional choreography: $110 per athlete
Professional music mixing and music license:  $500 per squad
Competition fees $75
Competition gifts:  $30 per athlete
State competition gifts:  $18 per athlete
Administration costs:  $75 per athlete

As you can see, our expenses exceed our income. We have worked diligently to cut costs wherever we can and yet we ran at nearly $19,000 in deficit for the 2016 season.  

In the past we have been able to cover the deficit with proceeds from funds generated at competitions hosted by WTCP. Unfortunately, WTCP will no longer be hosting competitions and thus are in the position of having to raise fees in order to begin to cover expenses.

We are in the process of implementing a corporate sponsorship program that we hope will offset our deficits in the future. If you are a business owner or know a business owner who might be willing to be a sponsor, please contact a Board member.
